Chili

1 lb. ground beef (coarse ground)
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
2 T. chili powder
1 T. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 t. ground cumin
1/2 t. sugar
1 can ( 8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 cup water

 

Brown together the ground beef, onion & garlic. Drain excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well.  Cover & simmer at least 30 minutes.  Makes 4 servings (about 2/3 cup each) 

Recipe is easily doubled, tripled, quadrupled,etc...
